What you need to know Compensation: $16.00/hourly Job Description Summary: Provide support to the TLAC Business & Administrative office as the front desk receptionist. Qualifications Required Education and Experience: High school graduation or any equivalent combination of education and experience. One year of experience in general office or clerical work. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to multi-task and provide customer service in a professional office environment. Works well with others. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite programs. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the TAMU travel system, Concur. Essential Duties/Tasks TLAC Main office point of contact Main office suite security access Answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate party Food/catering orders & deliveries Student and visitor questions Travel/Concur Support Assist with Concur for faculty, student, and prospective candidate travel Office duties Assist with keeping office supplies stocked in storage closet – making re-order lists for Business Office and keeping storage closet organized. Submit work orders as needed, including orders of door/desk name plates for new employees Department event support Assist with department meetings and events – setup, breakdown, etc. Other duties as assigned Why Texas A&M University?
