Terrazzo Apartments is Hiring an Assistant Property Manager Near Beaumont, TX
Essential Responsibilities
- Leads rent collection efforts, specifically with delinquent residents. This means- calling, knocking on doors, posting notices and evictions as necessary.
- Helps and assists sales staff with tours and leases as necessary.
- Helps with managing staff as necessary and models effective leadership techniques on a daily basis.
- Inspecting apartments during move-in and move outs, walking apartments and the community as needed.
- Promotes resident satisfaction and retention by responding to complaints, questions, and requests in a timely manner, and taking appropriate action to resolve and address service issues. Ensures the property’s maintenance team members comply with the Company’s standards with respect to responding and completing resident service requests.
- Conducts regular property inspections and takes appropriate actions to ensure that the physical aspects of the property, grounds, buildings, and amenities meet established standards for safety, cleanliness, and general appearance and appeal.
Requirements:
- 2 years of on site apartment complex experience is REQUIRED
- Experience with online apartment management software REQUIRED
- Attendance and punctuality is essential for success in this position
- Ability to be available for after hours emergencies via text/email is REQUIRED
- Ability to meet and exceed sales and customer service objectives
- Exceptional customer service skills REQUIRED
A minimum of 1-year experience as an Assistant Property Manager at an apartment community is REQUIRED
- Must be reliable and able to take charge in absence of Manager
- Must have friendly outgoing personality
- Must be extremely tech savvy we are a paperless office, everything is done through apps & online!
- Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel & Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong positive leadership skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.25 per hour
