Job Title: Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:
1. Lead and oversee engineering projects within an Azure native environment, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company objectives.

2. Drive proactive actions to identify and resolve issues, utilizing a deep understanding of the technical landscape and project requirements.

3. Manage the software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, from inception to deployment, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout.

4. Utilize technical program management expertise to coordinate cross-functional teams, allocate resources, and mitigate risks effectively.

5. Communicate effectively with executives, providing updates on project status, risks, and opportunities, and aligning strategies with organizational goals.

6. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of ITIL/ITSM operations to optimize technology processes and enhance service delivery.

7. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, incorporating relevant insights into project planning and execution.

8. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

2. Proven experience in engineering/project management roles within Azure native environments.

3. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience implementing agile methodologies.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

5. Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM operations and principles, with the ability to optimize processes and workflows.

6. Preferred experience in the technology/media industry, with a solid understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities.

7. Proactive mindset with a demonstrated ability to drive initiatives forward and resolve issues efficiently.

8. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
