HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AS A VITAL PART OF OUR TEAM:

Under the direction of the Accounting Director, you will break down large, complex processes into digestible and concise pieces, maintain confidentiality regarding all business materials and matters discussed, and assist Controllers with month-end processes and reconcile accounts as directed. Other duties include but are not limited to:

• Prepare monthly financials under IFRS regulations and prepare the monthly intercompany reconciliation and P&L/balance sheet eliminations. Including Calculating EBITDA under IFRS reporting for management team.
• Prepare accounting-related entries to numerous registers, journals, and logs and maintain detailed reconciliations of all GL balance sheet accounts.
• Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions.
• Prepare major sections of monthly corporate and subsidiary financial statements according to US GAAP by ensuring accurate and timely data entry of financial information from various system and manual sources.
• Review, analyze, investigate, and report on significant fluctuations between financial statements of different time periods.
• Prepare required monthly journal entries on a timely basis to record appropriate accruals, reclassing transactions when appropriate.
• Ensure account accuracy by preparing all necessary documentation for reconciling journal entries.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned from time to time by the Controller.
• Assist Management team with the preparation of the company's cashflow and provide oversite and guidance with the preparation of the budget in a support role to the management team.

POSITION TYPE & EXPECTED SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday 8AM - 5PM, and occasionally requires evening/weekend work during month end closing. Domestic travel less than 10% may also be required.

TO EXCEL AS A SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Our ideal candidate will be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship; be motivated, detail-oriented, and driven to succeed; have strong verbal and written communication skills, and multi-tasking abilities under strict deadlines. Other qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree with 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in GAAP, IAS, and IFRS, and familiarity with revenue recognition regulations (ASC 606).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to draw valid conclusions from data.
• Experience with accounting software like QuickBooks Enterprise, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite is a plus.
