Tennessee Valley Bone and Joint is Hiring a Practice Manager (FT) Near Cleveland, TN

Practice Manager
Base Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring that it runs smoothly and meets its financial objectives.
  • Directs and supervises Team.
  • Hiring and Training, Evaluations, and other HR duties.
  • Create appropriate organizational environment and value systems which stimulate the morale and productivity of the Team and its leadership.
  • Collaborate with training all staff to ensure that training and quality goals are met.
  • Coach and lead through effective feedback to Team through Practice Manager.
  • Monitor and evaluate on a daily basis.
  • Partner with other practice managers to develop action plans to maximize efficiency and supervises the implementation of improvements.
  • Support Practice in all functions including hiring, assignment and direction of work, development and training, disciplinary actions and termination and the maintenance of all personnel records.
  • Partner with the providers in budget preparation and ensure revenue targets and training goals are met.
  • Review and approve employee schedules to accommodate the patient needs of the practice.
  • Construct and submit timely and accurate reports on a daily/weekly/monthly or as required basis.
  • Maintain thorough familiarity and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, Standard Operating Procedures, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines.
  • Build rapport with clients and referring providers to ensure an overall high level of customer satisfaction with the practice and services we provide.
  • Minimize practice liability through constant risk management review.
  • Investigate all unsafe situations and situations/complaints.

  • Experience delegating and supervising office tasks to staff.
  • Clerical training and experience.
  • Ability to communicate with people with various levels of medical knowledge in both written and verbal forms.
  • Diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer software proficiency, IT Knowledge.
  • Emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English ( Spanish additionally preferred).
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Ability to hear, see, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, lift, and carry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, EMail, EHR, Pm Software and Powerpoint and Excel. 
  • Punctual and great work ethic.
  • 1 year of experience in Medical Management.
  • 1 year of leadership experience.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required,
  • A minimum of one (1) year of LPN, RN, RT or MA experience is preferred; and/or equivalent education or experience in job-related activities is required.
Compensation: Medical, Dental, Vacation & Retirement Available.
