Tennessee Valley Bone and Joint is Hiring an Insurance Benefits/Referral Specialist (FT) Near Cleveland, TN
Billing Extraordinaire:
Verify patient benefits with insurance carriers for the purpose of obtaining benefits and referrals prior to patient appointments. This position would be responsible for contacting patients regarding any financial responsibility due at time of service prior to appointment, scheduling appointments and verifying benefits for patients referred to our office from outside providers.
Required Skills:
Verify patient benefits with insurance carriers for the purpose of obtaining benefits and referrals prior to patient appointments. This position would be responsible for contacting patients regarding any financial responsibility due at time of service prior to appointment, scheduling appointments and verifying benefits for patients referred to our office from outside providers.
Required Skills:
- Prior experience with insurance verification from all insurance carriers-commercial and medicare.
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Good time management and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and follow-through.
- Have good communication skills.
- Working knowledge of word and excel.
- Ability to work well with others and be a team player-willing to help other billing team members.
