Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in delivering quality medical services. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Greet all patients/staff/personnel with a positive attitude
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Obtain and record vital signs, medical history, and other relevant patient information
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, prior authorizations and handling insurance paperwork
- Educate patients on medication usage, procedures, and follow-up care instructions
- Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or related healthcare role REQUIRED
- Proficiency in medical terminology, coding, and documentation practices preferred
- Knowledge of basic life support techniques and ability to respond to emergencies
- Familiarity with medical administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, prior authorizations and insurance verification
- Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and common medical conditions

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and staff
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and efficiency
- Strong organizational skills to manage patient appointments, records, clinical and administrative tasks effectively
- Demonstrate commitment to providing exceptional patient service
