We are looking for a reliable,creative and responsible candidate who enjoys working with preschool students.

Responsibilities

• Assists in creating plans for daily activities in line with the school curriculum
• Engage with young children in activities that are age-appropriate
• Foster a positive and healthy learning environment
• Ensure the classroom is kept in a clean and safe condition at all times
• Read stories to the children as a group
• Encourage creative thinking and learning
• Interact with teachers and administrative staff as needed
• Work with students in learning centers
• Participate in group activities
• Participate in school activities as a team player
• Attend on-going training

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a preschool setting
• Completed or working on 45 hours of mandated DCF classes
• Must pass a background check
• Strong knowledge of educational techniques and methods for teaching young children
• Patient and supportive approach to the learning process
• Enthusiastic and encouraging
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in English.
• Dependable
• Must live in the United States
• Must have proper identification

CDA preferred
