Business Analyst

- Position: Business Analyst
- Location: Tallahassee, FL (on-site)
- Compensation: $60- $65/hr C2C or 1099 OR $90,000/yr W2
Scope of Work:
- Spearhead the analysis and design of IT solutions that resonate with business needs
- Lead requirements definition meetings, ensuring clarity and actionable outcomes
- Craft detailed functional specifications and system designs
- Engage in proactive problem-solving, offering alternative solutions to technical hurdles
- Contribute to the agile project management process, enhancing productivity and delivering excellence
- Foster strong relationships with partners and clients, driving successful project outcomes
Mandatory Qualifications:
- 7 years in business and technical requirements analysis and business process modeling
- 3 years in quality control and testing of software applications
- 2 years’ experience in the role of a ScrumMaster, or similar Agile Project Management role, managing IT software development projects
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of bridging technical and business domains
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in business analysis (IIBA) or Agile Project Management (CSM) preferred
- Certified ScrumMaster certification (CSM) or equivalent Agile Project Management certification.
- Familiarity with Agile development, specifically Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP) and Kanban.
- Experience with database query tools such as TOAD and/or SQL Developer.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, UML, and environmental regulatory processes is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field, or equivalent work experience
