SCOPE OF POSITION

Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:45pm.

This position is ENTRY LEVEL and requires basic to moderate electrical and mechanical skills, some computer skills, general construction and maintenance knowledge in manufacturing, distribution, or a warehouse environment.

JOB DUTIES

• Repair and conduct preventative maintenance on company equipment including printing presses, ovens, folding, baggers, forklifts, stock pickers, turret trucks, floor scrubbers, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
• Monitor and ensure all allocated machinery is kept in safe working order.
• Perform electrical, plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Provide maintenance and assist with installation, and repair of security and information systems hardware.
• Maintain and secure all cleaning materials and equipment.
• Assist with the completion of large mechanical and construction projects.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrate strong maintenance acumen and technical skills.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, consistency and dependability are mandatory.
• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers in a team environment.
• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, etc.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment in cold and hot temperatures.
• Ability to stand on concrete floor for 8 hours performing repetitive motion, twisting, turning, bending, and reaching.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing certification/training strongly preferred.
