We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Machinist to lead the installation and maintenance of our cutting-edge industrial equipment. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our machinery and mechanical systems. Your expertise will encompass installing new equipment, conducting regular servicing and maintenance, and promptly resolving equipment breakdowns.

In this role, your advanced mechanical knowledge, exceptional troubleshooting abilities, and effective time-management skills will be critical to your success. As a top-notch Industrial Maintenance Machinist, your primary objective will be to optimize production efficiency by ensuring all equipment functions flawlessly and receives scheduled maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Work with Bridgeport Milling Machine
  • Conducts preventive maintenance to mechanical devices/machinery.
  • Detects malfunctions through observation (sound or visual).
  • Runs diagnostic tests to ensure machinery functionality.
  • Repairs broken or faulty machine parts.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
  • Provides basic machinery support including oiling, solvents, water, and cleaning.
  • Performs emergency repairs.
  • Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production-related equipment.
  • Chooses appropriate materials based on mechanical needs.
  • Aligns and calibrates machine parts.
  • Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
  • Installing new production equipment.
  • Monitors and reports on projects progress.
  • Follows safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintains an organized, safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

Other & Miscellaneous

  • Suggests and participates in implementation of changes to improve the organization.
  • Reports all irregular issues and problems to supervisor / management for solution.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintains good communication with supervisor / management.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.

Critical KSAs Needed

Ability to demonstrate basic level of speech, reading, writing and comprehension skills in English. Must have basic math and mechanical skills. Must have precise measuring skills. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to interact with others in a positive manner. Bridgeport Milling Machine knowledge required.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required with an Associate’s or vocational school degree preferred in this relevant field. Some experience may substitute for education.

Work Experience Requirements

• Over 5 years of previous experience in machinery or other related fields.
