TMB, Inc has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Data Analyst to support SEA 21.

Responsibilities

• Framing and conducting empirical and qualitative assessments of large enterprises to include data visualization, formulating data collection schemas from diverse sources, evaluating, and improving data quality, analyzing data using traditional statistical, advanced Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning techniques; modeling operational systems, and communicating results to C-level managers and leaders.
• Work alongside government personnel in the Metrics Directorate of NAVSEA, SEA 21 providing primarily consulting, facilitating, and performing metric development, dashboard framework development, data management schemas, analysis, and recommending areas for productivity improvement.
• Produce statistical analysis products and strategic plans for data management and improvement.
• Learn various government data systems and operational constructs as much as consult.
• This position is seated in the Washington Navy Yard and there are minimal travel expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience using at least one statistical analytic package (Minitab, SPSS, etc.).
• Experience with data visualization using Qlik and/or Tableau.
• NAVSEA experience. 
• Bachelor's degree in applied mathematical discipline such as physics, engineering, computer science, or similar.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience is required.
• Must be a United States citizen.
• Must possess an active DOD Secret security clearance.
• Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings.
• Ability to travel reasonable distances (up to ½ mile one way) to meet with customers or other company personnel in the execution of job functions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds in order to carry a laptop, notebooks, papers, binders and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions.
