Responsibilities:
Conduct outbound sales calls to prospective clients, introducing them to our freight forwarding services.
Identify decision-makers and build relationships with key contacts within target organizations.
Understand prospective clients' transportation needs and tailor our services to meet their requirements.
Deliver compelling sales presentations, showcasing the value and benefits of partnering with our company.
Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients, ensuring a win-win situation for both parties.
Collaborate closely with our operations team to ensure seamless execution of contracts and customer satisfaction.
Utilize CRM software to track and manage sales activities, leads, and opportunities.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and objectives.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales, preferably in the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of freight forwarding processes and terminology is preferred.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and customer needs.
