The Principal, Revenue Management directly drives revenue by adjusting schedules to optimize revenue at the office, day, and hour level. This role is accountable for the day-to-day work for Revenue Management / schedule optimization essentially to optimize scheduling to grow customer value. Essential Job Functions: Responsible for office/day/hour level revenue optimization by properly valuing patients and forecasting future demand levels balanced against resource constraints while maintaining our “brand promise” to be available for high-need patients when they want us. Monitor and update demand and schedule availability through the analysis of historical and future booking trends, the pricing environment, industry capacity trends, competitive landscape, and other factors. Establish and maintain overbooking forecasts through the analysis of cancel and no-show behavior trends balancing revenue, patients, and the office team needs. Evaluate performance and post-appointment trends to identify and leverage opportunities to improve the revenue potential for each office. Perform frequent ad-hoc analyses by utilizing data, relationships, and storytelling to develop and maintain a single source of truth for commercial revenue performance. Communicate market performance results and identify action items for the Commercial team to review and execute. Collaborate with Product, Finance, Technology, Analytics, Marketing, and other teams to ensure alignment on commercial revenue strategies. Must be excited to build this function from scratch (new KPIs, goals, reports, playbooks, etc.) in an industry filled with opportunity. Minimum Job Qualifications: 3-5 years work experience in a complex supply/demand planning environment, a Revenue Management role, or predictive analytics field required Undergraduate degree required with major in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or Statistics preferred Master’s degree in related field a plus Proficiency in analytics, including the ability to conduct root cause analysis, identify key issues, and present succinct recommendations leveraging SQL (BiqQuery), Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau Knowledge of revenue optimization, pricing science, and economic principles Must have the ability to independently structure/resolve problems by incorporating/balancing relevant factors and grasping mathematical concepts related to inventory management.
