Team Facilities Inc is looking to hire a full time Accounting and HR Manager for work in the Troy Michigan area. If you are looking for a change from the large corporate world and would enjoy working for a small business where everything you do makes an immediate difference and you enjoy:

  • Not being just another number at work
  • managing all aspects of accounting for a small business
  • generating client invoices and handling accounts receivable
  • creating and managing monthly financial reports including profit & loss and balance sheet
  • creating annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and annual financial reports for both clients and Team Facilities
  • managing invoice payment systems and accounts payable
  • managing payroll utilizing third party payroll company
  • managing team member expense reports
  • managing vendor 1099 forms
  • managing benefit accounts for team members
  • reviewing client expenses to find for potential savings
  • manage Human Resource paperwork and basic functions
  • helping others and have great customer focus
  • solving problems that can save money and help the environment
  • turning your thoughts and ideas into actions
  • seeing the results of your actions immediately
  • working with others as part of a team environment
  • having fun at work interacting with others that love what they do

If you:

  • Are not afraid to make decisions
  • can hit the ground running
  • have an Associate or Bachelor degree in accounting or finance and/or relevant work experience - at least 5 - 10 years of work experience in small business accounting
  • have excellent QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop skills
  • have excellent Microsoft 365 software skills, specifically in Excel and Word
  • have excellent organizational skills
  • have excellent customer service skills
  • have excellent verbal communication skills on the phone as well as in person
  • have excellent written communication skills to compose professional emails & documents to clients, vendors, and Team Members
  • can process accurate and timely payments for clients
  • can manage tracking of team member weekly hours for billing clients
  • have a solid working knowledge of all Human Resources paperwork and record retention guidelines to ensure compliance
  • can engage in critical thinking and complex problem solving
  • can stay positive and focused when receiving accounting problem issues from frustrated clients
  • have experience or can quickly learn, with our training, to work with web based software supporting facilities management and work requests from clients
  • experience in Concur and Avid Exchange invoice management systems (preferred)
  • experience in Autobooks (preferred)
