Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in budgeting, accrual accounting, and corporate finance. Experience with Sage software and financial auditing is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Support the payroll function by ensuring accurate processing of employee compensation
- Perform financial audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
- Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA certification is a plus)
- Proven experience in accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of accrual accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software (Sage experience preferred)
- Familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
