Job Title: Accountant

As we expand our operations and customer base, we seek a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare budget forecasts and financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Conduct detailed reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
- Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Maintain the integrity of financial documents and data, including ledger entries and journal records.
- Monitor financial transactions and reports; process adjustments as needed.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings with accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, providing strategic recommendations and maintaining solutions to business and financial problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
- Proven experience as an accountant, preferably within a wholesale, e-commerce, or related industry.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- CPA or CMA preferred.
- Bilingual English/Chinese is a plus.
