Duties
- Comfort with the preparation of standard financial documents (P&L, Balance Sheets, Statement of Cashflows, etc.)
- Preparation and input of journal entries
- Firm understanding of accrual accounting principles
- Reconcile accrual, prepaid, and cash accounts
- Maintains fixed assets and calculate monthly depreciation and amortization
- Works with AP & AR staff to ensure proper recognition of revenues and expenditures
- Assist other internal business units in understanding financial impacts
- 5 years of applicable Accounting experience
- High level of proficiency in Excel, Outlook, MS Office
- Firm understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, and accrual accounting
- Ability to self pace and deliver complete work products in a timely manner
- Bachelors in Accounting, Business, Economics, or other related field preferred but not required
