Human Resource GeneralistPurposeThe goal of the Human Resource Generalist is to deliver excellent customer service and support to the business by promoting People & Culture (P&C) programs and incentives and providing human resources guidance in accordance with statutory requirements and Company standards. The positions will have local administrative and strategic responsibilities.TasksResponsible for the full life cycle of employees from onboarding to leaving e.g. assists in administering employee benefit programs (enrollment, onboarding, leave administration, life insurance claims, etc.) and addressing benefits-related inquiriesManages all aspects of payroll, including timesheets, reports, employee changes, sick and vacation balances, reconciliation, etc.Ensures compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations, updating policies and procedures as necessaryPartners with employees and managers to communicate and advise on various P&C policies, procedures, and programs, including updating and maintaining the policiesPromotes a positive company culture by organizing events, activities, and initiatives that boost employee morale and engagementMaintains employee personnel and payroll files and employee HRIS database ensuring P&C information is kept up to dateResponsible for accuracy of all P&C Systems e.g. ATS, HRIS, SAPParticipates in recruitment efforts where needed (interviews, background checks)Address employee inquiries, concerns, conflicts, providing timely and effective solutions to maintain a harmonious work environment Supports the local certification and training requirements Manages employee disability leaves and modified return to work processes RequirementsA Diploma in Human Resources, Management, Business/Commerce or related education or relevant work experience Must be proficient in spoken and written English and NorwegianExperience in performing general HR function and working in multiple HR disciplines Experience with SAP, HRIS, ERP and MS Office
