NOW HIRING : HR ASSISTANT
Compensation : $23-$25 / hour (starting wage)
Status : Part-Time Hourly Non-Exempt (year-round)
Reports To : HR Manager
Tagawa Greenhouse Enterprises LLC is currently hiring an HR Admin to assist the HR Department in the areas of Onboarding, Compliance, and Benefits.
This position is open due to department reorganization and elimination of 1 Full-Time HR Assistant and hiring 2 Part-Time HR Assistants.

An HR Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks to support the human resources department.
As a touchpoint for communication between employees, past-employees, and supervisor / management personnel, it is critical for this person to be able to effectively communicate with a variety of different personalities, different backgrounds, countries, and experiences.
The HR Assistant reports to the North Corporate Office team, and is further responsible with greeting employees, clients, guests, and visitors to our company.
As an employee of the Human Resources Department, an HR Assistant aids management with the creation and maintenance of human resources forms and documents, answer basic employee questions about human resources policies / offerings.
Other key responsibilities include scheduling interviews, completing new hire orientations, processing onboarding paperwork, completing benefit enrollments, maintaining records of completed transactions, and inputting data into HR system (Paylocity).
HR Assistants may handle sensitive employee data and must complete using established company process and while complying with all federal, state, and local laws.
This position is a part-time year-round position, whose hours may fluctuate based on the seasonal needs of our greenhouse company.
Currently, HR Assistants are scheduled approximately 3 days per week starting at 7 : 45AM. This position performs work under general supervision and handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
An ideal candidate would have at least 2 years experience in HR, Recruitment / Staffing, Training, or Compliance, with some experience using an HRIS system (Paylocity or similar payroll systems) to maintain sensitive employee data.
Must have strong communication skills that encourage open dialogue between HR and other departments, while understanding the need for discretion when it pertains to confidential and sensitive employee information.
An ideal candidate would possess comprehensive knowledge of the company policies along with a working knowledge of HR best practices to help provide support to general greenhouse worker, specialist, and supervisory staff.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is highly preferred.

Basic Minimum Requirements / Competencies
Required 2 years minimum combined experience in any of the following areas :
Company will sponsor the Colorado Pesticide Applicator License and necessary training with the intention for this employee to give annual and new hire Worker Protection Standard (Safety) training.
All employees must follow the safety guidelines and procedures set by Tagawa Greenhouse Enterprises, use equipment and materials correctly for their intended purpose, and determine appropriate action for dealing with all situations that may arise.
Must be able to regularly lift and / or move up to 15 pounds and attend work at the Brighton facility on a daily basis.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
To prevent injury, employees must abide by the safety procedures set by Tagawa Greenhouse Ent., LLC. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
