Salary: $35 per hour (based on experience and capabilities)
Tactical Techs delivers comprehensive IT support and solutions to a diverse range of clients spanning industries such as education, healthcare, and legal services. With a focus on ensuring seamless operation, we serve over 3,000 users, guaranteeing their technology is consistently optimized and functioning effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to client offices when needed in and around the Sherman Oaks CA 91403 area.
- Support customers both on-site at their office and remotely
- Create Support Tickets from incoming calls, e-mails, and text messages and all tasks from start to finish
- Prioritize tickets according to customers' Service Level Agreement.
- Follow tickets through to resolution.
- Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software.
- Resolve any issues from email access difficulties in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 to printers scanners PCs or Servers as well as networking issues switches and routers.
- Install and configure IP Cameras. (Experience with low-voltage wire runs is a plus but not required.)
- Set up and configure VOIP phones.
- Connect and set up audio-video equipment and microphones.
- Minimum 4 years of on-the-job experience in the responsibilities listed above.
- General or higher working knowledge of Windows Server 2016 R2 and higher.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with ConnectWise, our ticketing and PSA system.
- Experience with Datto, our RMM and Backup solution.
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
- Positive and professional demeanor.
Ability to see an issue through to resolution from beginning to end. Upon arriving at the office, the team member logs into their computer and promptly checks the ticketing board, emails, Teams messages, and calendar. Throughout the day, they handle incoming tickets and phone calls, often reaching out to customers to provide in-person or remote support. They take ownership of tasks, ensuring they see them through to completion, and maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with clients, serving as their trusted tech support agent. They are able to address all issues from basic IT issues to more advanced Server and Networking repair Active Directory and Group Policies Microsoft 365 Administration and Google Workspace Administration as well as VOIP phone configuration, and NVR camera administration.
