Restaurant Technology Manager

Taco John's International in St. Louis Park, MN is looking to hire a full-time Restaurant Technology Manager to provide crucial technical support to our restaurants and their internal teams. The Restaurant Technology Manager plans, assists, and coordinates restaurant technology business initiatives and actions with vendor partners, franchisees, and Support Center Field teams, in conjunction with other departments and staff as directed.

This Restaurant Tech position earns a competitive salary of $80,000-$90,000 per year. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESTAURANT TECHNOLOGY MANAGER

In this tech support position, you play a vital role in ensuring our restaurants' technical execution runs seamlessly. Always highly efficient and organized, you are responsible for configuring assigned restaurant technologies to achieve business and operational execution goals as well as maintaining data quality and appropriate integration to backend systems, restaurant operations, and future technologies. You are also responsible for training the field team, restaurant managers, and franchises on the use of our point-of-sale system (POS) and back-office solutions. With great attention to detail, you make sure all inventory items, new menu items, recipes, abbreviations, costing information, PLUs, and data for both the drive-thru timer and speed-of-service analytics are kept up to date. As the resident tech support expert, you monitor all pertinent information to make recommendations for improvements to register programming and data collection methods. You closely monitor and control expenses, always keeping our pre-established budget in mind. Without you and your technological expertise, our restaurants and franchises simply would not be able to function. You get great satisfaction in knowing your efforts ensure great guest experiences and make our team's lives much easier!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RESTAURANT TECHNOLOGY MANAGER

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) from four year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3 years of experience in IT support OR with point-of-sale systems and equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot technology issues for immediate and long-term effects.
• 3 years of experience working with restaurant technology would be preferred.
• Knowledge about front-of-house and back-of-house systems, Olo, and DecisionLogic would also be beneficial.
• Experience with a chain restaurant brand would be a plus
• Valid Drivers License required
