Purpose of Position:
Supervise all catering events and all catering staff. Meets prospective catering clients, and make recommendations for events as requested by the Catering Services Manager.
Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required, unless otherwise waived by Human Resources Management.
• Three (3) years of guest service experience in Food and Beverage is required, preferably in a catering/banquet management capacity.
• ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Requires valid California Driver's License and clean driving record acceptable to Table Mountain Casino's insurer.
• Must possess leadership, analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Maintain a well-organized catering storage facility, ensure proper controls are in place to protect all Table Mountain Casino property used at all catering functions.
• Prepare and document all functions with appropriate signatures on a (BEO) Banquet Event Order, work closely with accounting to ensure timely payment and deposits for catering functions, while maintaining records of all charges.
• Ensure food service is prepared and or delivered on time and in accordance with acceptable quality and quantity standards established, perform food preparation duties, and work closely with all chefs.
• Maintain inventory and par system for ordering and maintain record for all special order requests.
• Actively supervise all catering events to ensure function exceeds the guest's expectations.
• Responsible for the staffing, training and scheduling of Team Members.
• Responsible for preparing evaluations and issuing disciplinary actions when required.
• May operate company vehicles or equipment as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Access to Sensitive Areas: Food and Beverage storage areas.
• Signatory Authority: Any necessary Catering personnel related forms.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50-70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be exposed to cigarette smoke; the work environment is noisy and employee will work indoors and outdoors; work performed in areas which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky and dimly lit, and maneuver outside in temperatures in excess of 115° and as cold as 15° (exposed to all weather conditions).
