``Duties```

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process. Your duties will include:

- Processing invoices accurately and efficiently
- Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies
- Ensuring timely payments to vendors
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions
- Collaborating with internal departments to resolve invoice issues
- Assisting with month-end closing processes

```Skills```

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Proficiency in governmental accounting practices

- Monthly reconciliation of AP accounts including the AP liability account
- Strong background in general ledger reconciliation
- Ability to handle journal entries accurately
- Familiarity with tax regulations related to accounts payable
- Proficient in using PeopleSoft accounting software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.23 - $55.55 per hour
