Summary T2S Solutions currently has an opening for a Test Engineering Lead to join our team. This position will be based out of our facility in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, but the position can function as a hybrid role with work being done remotely when circumstances allow. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing robust testing processes across complex systems, and effectively managing a team of test engineers to execute processes. As a Test Engineering Lead, you will be instrumental in establishing a structured approach to testing hardware, software, databases, networks, algorithms, and overall system functionalities.

Ability to interpret ambiguous requirements, think critically, challenge the status quo, a desire to seek out new challenges and continuously learn are needed to thrive in this position. Responsibilities
Develop, refine, and implement comprehensive testing processes and methodologies covering hardware, software applications, databases, networks, and system-level functionalities
Define clear and measurable test objectives, metrics, and deliverables aligned with business goals
Establish best practices for test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting
Lead a team of test engineers, providing guidance and support in executing testing activities effectively
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product management, operations) to understand requirements and integrate testing into the development lifecycle
Drive automation initiatives to improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability using scripting languages and automation tools
Establish test environments and configurations; ensure accurate production environment representation
Monitor and analyze test results, identify areas of improvement, and implement corrective actions
Document testing processes, procedures, and results in a clear and concise manner
Qualifications
Bachelors or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5-7 years of relevant experience
Active DoD security clearance required
Expertise developing and implementing system level testing processes, methodologies, and frameworks
Proven experience in leading Test Engineering teams
Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience in leading and mentoring teams
Hands-on experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
Deep understanding of database systems, network protocols, and hardware testing methodologies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences
Experience with Agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience with software defined radios such as Trellisware or MPU5s
Experience managing testing across multiple locations
Experience with Agile processes and tools
