Job Description PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop, implement, and document engineering, integration, and readiness processes and procedures for the Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications-Tactical (C3T) Tactical Network (TN) systems * Prepare required product documentation and maintain configuration item baselines * Participate and assist in the coordination of Integrated Product Team (IPT) and other technical forums * Coordinate with program, project and product management offices to assess the efficiency of the engineering and integration processes * Independently evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, and make minor adaptations and modifications * Assist in the management, maintenance and automating of Configuration Management tools * Oversee the delivery of software applications in test and deployment environments
* Maintain proper version controls of software deliverables * Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate resolutions * Participate in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system * Lead integrated project team(s) and provide independent and professional support on portions of complex projects Requirements MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in Engineering or a related technical field of study
* A minimum of ten (10) years' of related networks systems engineering or engineering experience * Experience maintaining configuration baselines and knowledge of managing configuration management tools
* Experience performing design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products
* Ability to effectively communicate with and lead Integrated Project Team(s) (IPTs) * Ability to provide independent and professional support on portions of complex projects * Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment setting
* Strong written and verbal communication skillsDESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
* Ten (10) plus years' of engineering experience.
