Position Title: Engineering (General) IV - (SECRET CLEARANCE)
Position Start: April 22, 2024 (Pending Contract Award)
Position Summary: MILVETS is currently seeking to fill a full time Engineering (General) IV - (SECRET CLEARANCE) position. The Engineering (General) IV will be supporting the government at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and document engineering, integration, and readiness processes and procedures for PEO C3T Tactical Network systems.
• Prepare documentation and maintain Configuration item baselines.
• Participate and assist in the coordination of the integrated product team and other technical forums at the PM TN, PEO C3T and subordinate agency level.
• Coordinate with program, project and product management offices to assess the efficacy of the engineering and integration processes.
• Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, and makes minor adaptations and modifications.
• Assist in management, maintenance and automating of Configuration Management tools.
• Maintain proper version controls of software deliverables.
• Oversee the delivery of software applications in test and deployment environments.
• Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate resolutions.
• Must be capable of participating in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system.
• Brings knowledge of Army organization structure and Unit Task Organization concepts.
• Has ability to effectively communicate and lead integrated project team(s).
• Provides independent and professional support on portions of complex projects.

Qualifications: BS in engineering, testing or related field, Engineering, or related scientific /technical discipline
Substitutions: BS can be substituted with an additional 7 years of related experience performing Tactical Network engineering functions and experience with Army organization structure and Unit task organization
Experience: A minimum of eight (8) year of engineering experience in Tactical Network design, integration, automation and documentation.
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an Active United States Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
