Technical Committee Coordinator / Administrative Operations Coordinator :
- Responsible for coordinating the work of assigned technical committees by acting as the organization representative at appropriate committee meetings
- Facilitating committee work before, during and after meetings; planning meeting facilities; working directly with suppliers; ensuring adherence to legal requirements, policies, and procedures; conducting on-site registration
- Plan and staff committee meetings in a variety of locations, managing budgets and associated logistics
- Ensuring the proactive production and publication of various standards and regulations that are relevant to the industry and which meet the goals of the organization
- Working with technical committee leadership to advance the committees’ objectives, using industry knowledge and relevant metrics, data, and KPIs for progress assessment and improvements
- Collaborating with other committee members to facilitate the development and publication of industry standards and regulations
- Focal point for all relevant enquires and communications
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field of study ( Business Administration or Engineering discipline )
- Experience in customer-facing, group facilitation, various associations ( including non-profit ) coordination and management roles
- Ideally some experience working in or with industries related to transportation (manufacturing and engineering), such as automotive, aerospace, rail transportation/rolling stock, marine/naval/shipbuilding, and related sectors.
- Prior experience in administrative or customer service support will be a plus
- Excellent organizational, planning and negotiation skills with experience in coordinating and executing organizational processes and procedures
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, strong presentation, meeting planning and facilitation skills
- Must be able to travel 10-15% of the time when needed
