Position: Senior Manager, Executive Communications

Job Description:

Synopsys is seeking a dynamic and strategic communications professional for a new Senior Manager, Executive Communications role in our Global Marketing & Communications Group. This role reports to the vice president of communications and will be instrumental in shaping and activating the company's corporate narrative through executive platforms and speaking opportunities. This role will also program manage Synopsys' corporate narrative initiative to ensure stakeholders are equipped to tell a consistent and compelling story both inside and outside the company.

Responsibilities:

1. Executive Communications:

• Support our comprehensive executive communication strategy, ensuring alignment with the corporate vision and key corporate messages.

• Establish speaking platforms for key executives, partnering with marketing and public relations to maximize the impact.

• Act as strategic communications advisor and partner for business unit leaders and key stakeholders across the organization.

2. Corporate Narrative Program Management:

• Operationalize our corporate narrative by auditing, activating, and maintaining consistent and compelling messaging and related resources.

• Establish a speakers bureau program/process to provide visibility into external events where Synopsys employees are presenting.

• Manage centralized, global spokesperson training initiative.

3. Integrated Communications:

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create engaging content that advances our communications priorities and supports key news moments and company milestones.

Qualifications:

• 10 years communications experience

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

• Experience shaping and executing technology industry communications programs.

• Excellent writing and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into words the average user can understand.

• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen

• Ability to advise and influence senior leaders on communications approach and messaging.

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong program management skills and excellent cross-functional collaborator

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $155,000-$233,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
