Synaptics is looking for a Staff HRIS Analyst, Workday to play a significant role in supporting a world class employee experience while ensuring efficiency and scalability in our HR systems. You will have demonstrated experience and real passion for providing support for HR technology systems and programs. This role supports the entire HR tech stack including Workday, Jobvite and associated integrations. You’ll participate in system implementations, configurations, system maintenance and enhancements, and analytics with a continuous improvement mindset. This position reports to the Director, Compensation & HRIS.

The typical base pay range for this position is USD $108,500 - $170,500 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, equity, and other benefits. Note that compensation listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain all HR system related initiatives and projects
  • Manage system configurations providing end-to-end project management support, day-to-day resource and task management for implementations and enhancements
  • Develop, prepare, and deliver robust analytics providing insight and analysis to drive more informed HR and business decisions
  • Recommend tactical and strategic process improvements, creative solutions and process changes to continually improve the employee experience
  • Maintain global data integrity; develop tools and audit processes to ensure accurate and timely data
  • Operate as the subject matter authority on the underlying technologies that support people processes
  • Play a role in various HR projects and functions from design through implementation and training

  • Experience in creating complex reports, dashboard, and creating/tracking effective metrics
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong consultative skills and the ability to build solid relationships with the management team, HR team, cross-functional internal partners, and external providers/vendor

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent
  • 8 years of HRIS hands on systems work; requirements gathering and design, including process mapping and gap analysis and direct implementation of a new system
  • Familiarity with supporting Applicant Tracking systems, Jobvite preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with various Workday modules (HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Time off, Leave Management, Learning and Talent Management required
  • Hands on experience with report writer, calculated fields, EIB, BIRT report design
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills in conjunction with the ability to prioritize and handle special tasks simultaneously
  • Customer service mindset with the continuous goal of improving the employee experience while creating efficient and scalable systems and processes
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • No travel is required
