Overview:

Sydney's Pampered Peach Daycare is looking for an Assistant Director who is a dynamic relationship builder, great communicator, and has a passion for working with both children and adults. The Assistant Director will work in conjunction with the Director and Owner, and mainly focus on the day to day activities at the school.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Must have 3 or more years of managing childcare experience as a Director/Assistant Director and at least 5 years of preschool experience and child development training
-TCC or CDA with 40 hours Directors Training Certificate
- Experience with CAPS and CACFP
- Conflict resolution skills along with great communication skills
- Flexible, detail oriented, organized, energetic and can multitask
- Reliable transportation is a must

- Must pass a criminal background check
-Computer skills in Excel, Word doc. email writing, and willingness to learn other programs

Duties (include but not limited to):

- Operate and ensure the rules and regulations of the state licensing board are maintained at all times in the center.
- Train and supervise teachers and other staff members
-Support and manage state programs such as GA Pre-K, CAPS, and CACFP
-Ensure a safe environment for the children and the center is maintained all the time
- Assist teachers with the weekly development and execution of the curriculum and program activities
- Manage daily/weekly scheduling, parent interaction and tuition collection.

- Assist the Director in managing the staff
- Interact with parents and parent's needs.
