The Office of Financial Aid is looking for an Assistant Director of Financial Aid to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Advises students and parents regarding the availability of financial aid, eligibility requirements, and the application and awarding process.
  • Evaluates applications and other documentation to determine need.
  • Awards financial aid within appropriate guidelines and regulations.
  • Administers related policies and procedures.
  • Monitors compliance with federal and state regulations governing student aid.
  • Develops programs related to functional processes.
  • Represents the department on various committees.
  • May manage student employment, loan processing, recruitment, support staff or special programs.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree and three years of financial aid or related financial experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
