As acting Agency Manager, directs all Home Health Care Clinical Services ensuring comprehensive, competent and coordinated patient care. Develops and implements business and strategic plans ensuring optimal delivery of clinical services, integration of physicians as well as successful financial performance. Manages delivery of service assuring compliance with governmental regulations and established accrediting agency standards. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives, as well as, Health System initiatives.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Master’s Degree in Nursing, Health Sciences or Business Administration required. If Master’s degree is not in nursing, a BSN is required. At least three years of recent community nursing experience and at least three years of management experience required.

An understanding of The Joint Commission and State of Illinois, as well as federal regulations, related to Medicare Part A Home Health strongly preferred. Experience with OASIS data collection preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Current RN licensure in the State of Illinois. Valid Illinois driver’s license. Biannual CPR. Proof of liability insurance.

Ability to effectively interact, develop consensus and mediate differences among all levels of staff within the organization and community. Successful completion of annual clinical, age and job specific competencies and skill verification tools required.
