Lower Elementary (K-5) Teacher – Michigan Teacher Certificate K-5 All Subjects

Salary: Per SCEA Master Agreement

Direct Supervisor: Building Principal

Qualifications:

· Must be highly qualified and certified to teach in the State of Michigan and possess a Michigan Teacher Certificate K-5 All Subjects Endorsement

· Must possess the ability to deliver effective classroom instruction and management

· Must possess a strong desire to work with elementary school-aged students and their parents

· Must possess a willingness to participate in a variety of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities including staff and curriculum development

· Must possess a willingness to work as part of a building team for the improvement of instruction

· Must possess a willingness to adapt to continuous change

· Must possess excellent communication skills when engaging with students, parents, and colleagues

· Must possess a demonstrated mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the requirements of the position

· Punctual, regular, & consistent attendance is required.

FLSA Status: Exempt
