Job Requirement/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related.
- Minimum 10 years of experience.
- Strong Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, moderate to advanced formulas, macros)
- Access database working knowledge helpful, Power BI experience helpful
- Strong understanding of financial statements and terminology
- Familiarity with and experience analysing market data helpful
- Familiarity with hydrocarbon supply business desirable but not required
Role Overview:
- Support updating the annual plan including coordinating with the business representatives to understand assumptions and drivers, and support validation against current performance
- Support monthly performance analysis and preparation of the regular performance review meetings
- Analytics around historical financial performance and identifying trends
- Document existing processes for FS&M PPM, update as necessary with proposed org/process changes
- Work with existing team to create a proposal to replace/update a legacy database
- Set up cost reduction tracker and action item register, follow up with accountable people
- Set up business commitment tracker, follow up with accountable people and drive to resolution.
