Job Description:

SWCORP is seeking a highly experienced Senior Staff Accountant to lead our accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in financial management, ERPs, AR & AP reconciliation, account reconciliation, and a variety of other accounting functions. Freight forwarding experience would be considered a plus. This individual will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and support in various financial processes, including AR & AP reconciliation, account reconciliation, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Oversee the financial operations of the company, including cash management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize e-commerce operations, inventory management, cost control initiatives, and freight forwarding processes.
• Utilize ERP systems (Netsuite, Acumatica) to streamline processes and improve efficiency, while also identifying opportunities for system enhancements.
• Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participate in casting experience initiatives to contribute to the growth and success of SWCORP.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on AR & AP reconciliation, account reconciliation, and financial management.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Netsuite, Acumatica), as well as advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Freight forwarding experience considered a plus.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in project status reporting, particularly in big box retail environments.
• Knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and API (Application Programming Interface) protocols.
• Familiarity with P&O (Procurement and Operations) processes.

Salary:

$85,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
