Our company is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of general accounting tasks, primarily focused on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This role is integral to the finance team and plays a key part in maintaining the financial health of our organization. Responsibilities

• Review and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Sort, code, and match invoices with purchase orders.
• Prepare vouchers and other records, and review for accuracy.
• Audit invoices against purchase orders, research discrepancies, and approve for payment.
• Verify and post details of business transactions into computer spreadsheets and databases.
• Maintain vendor files and ensure timely payment of bills.
• Investigate problems that vendors or purchasing agents have with obtaining payment for bills.
• Code data for input to financial data processing system according to company procedures.
• Reconcile report discrepancies and problems.
• Review, balance, and interpret computer reports, and make corrections as necessary.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and monitor visitor access.
• Perform any other tasks or duties as requested by the Controller or Management.

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
