In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our blanking dies and related components. You will use your expertise to diagnose and fix issues, ensuring our equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues by visually inspecting and listening to dies.
• Dismantle dies to repair or replace faulty components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on dies and related components.
• Operate metalworking tools to make or repair parts.
• Weld and cut materials for repairs or fabrication.
• Read precision measuring devices to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot die issues during production runs.
• Identify and repair defects produced by die blades.
• Manage die status and complete necessary paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications

• Experience in tool and die repair, particularly with blanking dies.
• Proficiency in operating metalworking tools such as drill press, lathe, die grinder, surface grinder, and Bridgeport mill.
• Ability to read and interpret precision measuring devices.
• Experience in welding and material cutting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
