Summary of Position:

This individual will have responsibility for safeguarding and improving the Company’s very important training programs while also owning various systems and processes vital to the Company’s well-being and success. This is an evolving, hybrid role that will divide time and presence between the Company’s restaurants and operating locations, the Home Office, and from home as well when applicable. The individual will learn the Company’s concepts, roles, and operations to have the best possible insight and understanding of how things work and what team members and leaders are supposed to do. The individual will champion leadership training as well as hourly team member training systems and compliance. Over time, as large training content material projects are concluded, this role will have the opportunity to evolve into other aspects of operations administration for the Company.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and implement learning programs, policies, and procedures to include developing or selecting teaching aids, such as multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, handbooks, etc
• Collaborates with leadership to effectively design and implement learning programs that support business needs, new or changes to policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies
• Driving Learning and Development content creation
• Verify and monitor MIT Progress
• Be responsible for driving hourly Team Member training and Continuing Education Compliance
• Liaise with People Resources to aid in Team Member development by connecting development plans with interested internal candidates
• Other Projects as Assigned

Qualifications:

• Be able to work from different locations, applying the necessary time to complete different tasks and responsibilities- Required
• At least 5 years of hospitality industry-specific experience in training and development supporting casual to fine dining F&B units and/or restaurants- Preferred
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in training and development management- Required
• Be Able to communicate, read, and write English & Spanish – Required
• Technologically savvy: Proficiency including at a minimum, but not limited to the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint- Required
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Be Able to reach, bend, stoop, and occasionally lift up to 35 pounds--Required
• Must have reliable transportation and is able to drive between multiple locations--Required
