Sushi Nakazawa DC is Hiring a Sommelier Near Washington, DC
Sushi Nakazawa in Washington DC is looking to fill the role of Sommelier with a passionate, hospitality professional. The Michelin starred Sushi Nakazawa serves the omakase of Chef Daisuke Nakazawa and is executed by Chef Katsuyoshi Okuna.
Responsibilities include:
Oversee and assist the entire front of the house team with all aspects of service. Work service as a sommelier.
Assist beverage director with program maintenance, inventory, and ordering.
Weekly education for staff.
Weekly education for staff.
We are seeking applicants who meet the following criteria:
Strong fine dining experience, with at least two years of experience as a sommelier.
Court of Master Sommeliers' Certified or higher.
Advanced knowledge of French wines and regions.
Sake knowledge is recommended but not immediately required.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
