• We are a busy and established surgical center in need of a medical assistant. MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH HOURS. Bilingual a plus.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• The medical assistant is required to have a flexible schedule
• The medical assistant is required to Answer calls in timely manner, take messages
• The medical assistant is required to Check-in/out each patient upon arrival and departure for their appointment
• The medical assistant is required to Administer check in/out forms, explain paperwork/policies, as needed
• The medical assistant is required to Print and distribute schedules for next day/prep charts
• The medical assistant is required to Maintaining a clean, tidy and orderly reception area
• The medical assistant is required to assist where needed

Qualifications:

• Full Time Position
• Aware of HIPAA laws
• General knowledge of medical documents
• Bilingual is a plus

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 2 years of related experience in the medical field
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate skills in Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
