We are a small family-oriented medical practice looking to add a dynamic and compassionate Front Desk Receptionist to our team, who is also interested in growing into a Medical Assistant role. Our practice is dedicated to providing top-notch care and service to our community, and we need someone who is patient-focused, organized, and eager to learn.

• Greet and welcome patients to the practice.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Register new patients and update existing patient profiles.
• Process billing and handle insurance inquiries.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Assist in the examination room as needed under supervision.
• Learn and perform basic medical assistant duties, including taking vital signs, patient histories, and preparing rooms for examinations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in Medical Assisting is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
• Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as record keeping and filing.
• Comfortable using healthcare software and patient management systems.
• Compassion and a strong desire to help others.
• Willingness to enroll in or currently attending a Medical Assistant training program.
