Position: Host

As a Host at SupperClub SouthEnd, you play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional guest experiences from the moment they walk through our doors. With a warm smile and engaged hospitality, you set the stage for a memorable dining journey. From friendly conversations during seating to accurate waitlist management during peak times, you ensure that each guest's visit is exceptional. Your attention to detail in maintaining clean and sanitized guest touch points adds to the welcoming atmosphere.

Position Type:

Both part-time and full-time positions are available.


Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and seat them at tables or in waiting areas.
• Provide guests with menus and assist with menu-related inquiries.
• Assign patrons to suitable tables according to rotation for efficient service.
• Inform guests of current promotions and introduce their server for a smooth handoff.
• Manage guest flow into dining and bar areas, providing accurate wait times when needed.
• Operate cash registers to accept payments for food and beverages.
• Answer phone calls and take to-go orders as necessary.
• Maintain a neat, tidy, and presentable host stand for guests.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant hosting or serving experience is preferred.
• Friendly and customer-focused personality that engages guests positively.
• Ability to clearly communicate greetings, farewells, and assist guests with their requests.
• Skill in effectively communicating guests' needs to Servers, Bussers, Managers, etc.
• Proficiency in telephone communication.
• Capability to carry trays or supplies weighing between 10-30 lbs.
