What we do:

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, sorting, and distributing all U.S. mail and parcels to recipients. Process and weighs outgoing mail, maintains records of receipt, mailing dates and other required information. Operates mail machines including postage meter, mail x-ray and copy MFD machines. Replenishes postage on postage meter. Stocks office supplies in mailroom. Maintains and tracks onsite paper file cabinets.

This position will be required to work on-site 5 days a week.

What you can do:

• The shift for this position is Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (or 7:00am-4:00pm)
• This role will build employee and supplier relations and provide high level of customer service to all requesters (employees) and vendors
• Use Envoy systems for processing all inbound and outbound deliveries
• Use Vendor Software for shipping, FED Ex, UPS, DHL, Postal Service, etc
• Process all Equipment with Asset tagging and logging of assets into System and spreadsheets
• Work with internal teams on asset management, i.e., Procurement, IT, and Legal
• Handle ordering of supplies needed for the Shipping and Receiving department
• Work closely with the Environmental and Health and Safety team to support company compliance requirements
• Will be responsible for use of warehouse type of equipment including pallet jacks, hand trucks, dollies and other relevant equipment
• Operate postage mail machines
• May require up to 10% of domestic and international travel
• Other duties as assigned

What you can contribute:

• High school diploma required
• Associate degree preferred
• A minimum of one (1) years’ experience shipping and receiving experience required
• Prior forklift experience
• Experience working in an R&D/Manufacturing Environment preferred
• Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving of International shipments and customs process preferred
• Experience with receiving into ERP/inventory tracking system preferred
