Superior Automotive Group is seeking qualified candidates for our Accounts Payable Specialist position to support our growing accounting needs across multiple businesses!
A successful candidate will have superior customer service skills, excellent computer skills, be detailed oriented, motivated, work with a sense of urgency, and thrive independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities may include:
- Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
- Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal ID numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation;
- Monitors accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
- Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Code and post a variety of receivable payments and deposits
- Reconcile accounting schedules
- Maintains historical records by scanning and filing documents.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
