We are a buy here pay here dealership in Oklahoma City seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Collection Agent to join our team. As a Collection Agent, you will be responsible for contacting individuals and businesses to collect outstanding debts. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a firm understanding of accounting principles.

Duties:
- Contact individuals and to collect payments
- Negotiate payment plans with customers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collections activities
- Follow company policies when pursuing payment collection
- Provide excellent customer service while resolving payment issues
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes and address customer concerns
- Utilize accounting software to track payments, invoices, and account balances

Requirements:
- Proven experience or willingness to learn accounts receivable
- Familiarity with billing processes is desirable
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficient in using accounting software
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
