Job Summary

•Maintain buildings in a neat and orderly condition. •Maintain proper care of tools and equipment belonging to the facility. •Perform manual tasks indoors and outdoors as necessary. Some of these tasks will require the ability to work in a lift / cherry picker. • Provide on-call service for emergencies involving the buildings and equipment at located on the Sunnyside Village campus. •Perform tasks pertaining to electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, mechanics, heating, cooling, water, sewer, clean-up, trash pick-up, move furniture and equipment and care of vehicles. •Must attend all mandatory in-service and department-specific meetings/training. •Practice safe working habits at all times. Bring any safety concerns to the attention of Supervisor immediately. •Participate in fire drills; serve on committees as requested. •Will complete initial and ongoing Compliance and Privacy training that exhibits behavior set forth by Code of Conduct in performance of their duties. •Other duties as assigned by the Director of Campus Services. Qualified candidates must be able to lift, push, pull, bend and be on your feet for the majority of the day. This person must have an excellent interpersonal skill dealing with our Senior Community.
