Business Development / Sales Manager – Skilled Trades Staffing

Summit Service Solutions, a skilled trades staffing agency with locations on the East Coast, seeks a seasoned Sales & Business Development Manager to strategically market and sell our firm’s services in the Jacksonville, FL area.

As our Sales and Development Manager, you will earn a highly competitive salary, depending on your experience, plus uncapped commission. You will also enjoy a company benefits package that includes a 401k retirement plan with employer match, holiday pay and paid time off, as well as supplemental benefits such as life insurance, disability insurance, and limited medical cost coverage.

Your primary goal as our Sales and Business Development Manager will be to discover potential customer leads, initiate cold calls, secure appointments, and maintain customer relationships throughout the sales lifecycle through close. You will also be expected to:

  • Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to generate new clients and expand current clients.
  • Network with business professionals to generate prospects and leads.
  • Close deals and ensure documentation is complete.
  • Work with branch teams to ensure clients’ orders are filled.
  • Hit sales targets and maintain both revenue and profitability.
  • Communicate with clients to help ensure our firm is providing exceptional service.

We need a Business Development / Sales Manager with a minimum of 3 years of skilled labor staffing sales experience, a bachelor’s degree and:

  • Knowledge of Federal and State HR regulations.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • The ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong presentation and relationship building skills.
