Park Hosts are the front lines and first impression when it comes to the sales and service of our park. Your primary responsibility is to ensure guests are welcomed with a smile, and that all guests continue to experience an exceptional level of customer service and support throughout their entire visit.

 Responsibilities

• Create an overall amazing experience for our guests
• Greet Guests when they enter the facility, provide friendly service upon check-in and communicate general park orientation
• Understand all aspects of the park to appropriately answer inquiries while talking with guests during phone calls or face-to-face conversation
• Assist guests in purchasing tickets and merchandise
• Check-in guests and provide an overview of the park and their adventure experience
• Pre-screen guest by ensuring they understand participation requirements and have completed liability release forms prior to climbing
• Perform party host duties and manage party group activities
• Assist in harnessing and de-harnessing guests
• Establish a warm and friendly relationship with guests on the phone, through email or in person
• Solve inevitable customer service challenges by seeking win-win outcomes
• General facility cleaning duties, trash runs, vacuuming, wiping down tables and benches, harness processing, etc.

• Genuinely friendly and outgoing disposition when working with guests and team members
• Demonstrate commitment to safeguarding the welfare of guests and teammates
• Strong communication skills and a kind, patient approach when working with people
• Effective communication strategies representing passion when working with people of all ages and abilities
• Reliable with strong work ethic and personal integrity
• Demonstrate the adaptability and flexibility required when working in a high-energy environment to meet the varied needs of guests without drama
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Possess the confidence to assess workplace situations, take initiative and work independently to provide the ideal Summit Ropes experience
• Be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and spend up to eight hours standing and walking

Schedule

This is an hourly, year-round, part-time position. This position requires a candidate who can work a flexible schedule. Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays.
