JOB SUMMARY
Check in and check out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established hotel requirements. Provide information to any guest or visitor inquiry.

We seek friendly, highly organized communicators and multitaskers with these qualifications.

  • Arrive at scheduled start time in appropriate uniform and ready for work.
  • Provide prompt service and actively seek opportunities to drive Guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure the team is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from either the Guests or other departments.
  • Manage, resolve or escalate any and all Guest issues quickly and efficiently; follow-up as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Work with all facilities and services provided within the hotel and identify opportunities for up-selling and promoting new or ongoing events.
  • Advise team of any special events or VIP Guests in the hotel for events or for general accommodations.
  • Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel and the local area and be aware of the daily hotel event schedule.
  • Watch for safety hazards and report them immediately to your Supervisor/Manager.
  • Attend all mandatory Department and Hotel meetings.
  • Complete all required training within time frame allotted.
  • Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures as required.
  • Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned.
  • Support environmental commitments by acquiring the knowledge, skills and values to be a leader in the global goal of “greening” the hospitality industry
  • Warm and friendly manner in relating to and interacting with the public
  • Demonstrated attention to detail while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with handling money, making change, and using office machines in day-to-day activities
  • Ability to speak and receive direction (written and verbal direction) in English
  • Willingness and ability to work alone as scheduled

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • US work authorization required
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Must meet grooming standards
  • Able to demonstrate high energy and a passion to serve
  • Able to work with little or no supervision
  • Previous cash handling experience required
  • Previous hotel/resort experience preferred
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Possesses strong attention to detail
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
  • Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
